Who i am
Michelle Giguère, a practicing licensed psychotherapist with a focus and specialization in helping to treat trauma, PTSD, anxiety diagnoses, among many others. Michelle has been in practice since 2015 gaining clinical experience on the acute unit of a psychiatric hospital where she remained for 2 years; she then competed her clinical training in the outpatient department of the hospital for 3 years serving the PHP/IOP programs. Once licensure was obtained she moved on from work at the hospital onto residential treatment center (RTC) setting in Los Angeles. Here she was initially employed as a primary therapist while she completed her clinical training in EMDR treatment and attaining master level training in Reiki energy healing. This lead to Michelle becoming the resident trauma specialist shifting to contract work within the company providing EMDR, Somatic therapy and Reiki healing to residents struggling with PTSD, anxiety, depression among many other diagnoses. After practicing EMDR and somatic therapies for 5 years in private practice, and at the residential treatment center, she continues to expand and integrate training in healing practices that are globally inspired including shamanic techniques (like soul retrievals), mediumship and remote viewing into her practice.
